1)      What is the service?  

If you want to minimize the amount of time you have involved in the selling price, want us to plan the selling strategy, promote your piano throughout our Business Network on and off our site, talk to the buyers and handle the entire sales transaction, choose this option.

  • We do the selling and make special arrangements for display and moving of your piano. 

  • We provide a seller agent with the expertise to represent your piano for sale to incoming potential buyers by phone, email and fax.  

  • We design a selling strategy that meets your approval and takes into consideration any special situations.  

  • We provide the following services for free as part of the package. (Bronze Selling Service people pay for these services as follows::

  • We promote your piano through the Piano Finders Business Network of collaborating businesses in order to expose it to more potential buyers. This is a more extensive listing opportunity than strictly through our website.  It includes contacts that do not use the web, but contact our business by phone and by mail.

  • We pay commissions to the seller agent and buyer agents who helped us sell your piano and pay for any advertising or listing fees for off-site locations. 

  • We pay commissions to the seller agent and buyer agents who helped us sell your piano.

  • This is an exclusive selling option until the contract expires.  

  • You do not list your piano with anyone else but us during the time you have chosen for your contract.

  • This service is limited to the pianos that we choose to represent.  We are only interested in pianos that fit into one of the following categories:

    • 45" or taller upright pianos that are less than 20 years old in excellent condition.

    • 5' or larger grand pianos that are less than 30 years old in excellent condition

    • 5'5" or larger grand pianos that are in need of extensive rebuilding/refinishing and have one of the following brand names:  Steinway,  Mason & Hamlin, Baldwin, Chickering, Knabe, and other Vintage American or German pianos.

    • Any quality piano being offered at a wholesale price (1/2 of current market value).

    • We do not approve Gold Selling Service Contracts for Square Grands or pianos that don't fit into one of the above mentioned categories.

  • You pay us a 30% commission on the ACTUAL Gross Sale Price of the Piano, when the piano is sold.  

  • If the contract expires and your piano remains unsold, you do not owe Piano Finders a commission unless you sell your piano to a Piano Finders Referred Buyer that we sent to you during the term of the contract.

2)      How long will it take for Piano Finders to complete this service?

When you sign the Gold Selling Service Agreement, you are listing the piano with us until the date you have chosen for expiration or until it is sold. If we accept your contract, then we will begin the process of planning, listing, promoting and selling the piano.  We cannot guarantee that a buyer will make an offer or perform on it if they do.  However, we will use our best efforts to sell your piano and complete the transaction in a reasonable time frame.

3)      How much does this service cost? 

  • 30% Commission on the Actual Gross Sale Price of the Piano if piano is sold during the term of contract, or if you elect to sell it to a Piano Finders Referred buyer after the contract expires. No commission is due otherwise.

5)      Will you benefit from using this service?

Piano sellers anywhere in the world can use this service.  This service may be appropriate for your needs if :

  • You want us to advise you on the best strategy for selling your piano, taking into consideration market conditions, geographical location and the details of your piano. 

  • You want us to do the work of selling your piano.  You would prefer us to use our time and expertise to list the piano for sale on our site and in other appropriate places, post photographs and inspection reports, compose a written "sales presentation" for the piano and educate and screen  merits potential buyers.

  • You prefer us to handle the buyer's questions, calls, correspondence and faxes.  You wuld prefer us to handle the transaction when an offer is made within the permission you have granted us and to make the process as simple and trouble free for you as possible.
